04 Oct Safety Revolution Sponsors Farm Manager of the Year
The Farmers Weekly Awards were celebrated on Thursday Oct 4th during a glittering ceremony and awards dinner held at The Grosvenor Hotel in London, and Safety Revolution were once again delighted to be involved.
The awards celebrate the very best of British farming by recognising and rewarding innovation, hard work and passion for agriculture in a range of sectors across the farming industry. Safety Revolution are proud sponsors of the Farm Manager of the Year award for 2019, and are honoured to have supported the awards for another year.
The Farm Manager of the Year category recognises excellence in one individual who demonstrates a high-level of dedication and passion for the farm business whilst managing a highly-motivated team, championing innovation, increasing productivity and striving to boost efficiency in order to achieve great results.
Oliver Dale, Managing Director at Safety Revolution, presented the award to Andrew Robinson of Herne Manor Farm, Bedfordshire, who was crowned the winner of the Farm Manager of the Year Award 2019. Following this award, Andrew Robinson was commended further and announced as the Farmer’s Weekly Farmer of the Year 2019.
Andrew was awarded this accolade for his impressive attention to detail in crop production, his income generation and soil organic matter improvement through the composting element of the business, his great attitude to staff management, dedication to farm trials work and his commitment to promoting British agriculture through farm visits and addressing non-farming audiences off farm.
Safety Revolution would like to congratulate Andrew Robinson on his thoroughly well-deserved awards and fantastic achievements; and would also like to commend both John Haynes and Rob Fox, who were worthy finalists for the Farm Manager of the Year Award 2019.
